Bio:

The Itou family has always served the Empire and we have always been guardians and protectors of the people as well as warriors. I am the last descendant of this line as I have reared no issue and I am the only one who never entered the military or the defense force. The progenitor of our family line was the guardian of the throne and Imperial Regalia; which are the Kusanagi (sacred sword), Yasakani no magatama (sacred jewel), and Yata no kagami (sacred mirror). He lost favour with the legendary Emperor Jimmu and we disappeared from the public eye until the issueance of the Taihou code of 702 AD, which ranked everybody on a scale from one to twelve. Samurai were ranked six and below. My family was ranked five until the Heian period when the shogun appeared. My ancestor was the daimyo of the area around Fujisama (Mount Fuji). And we reigned until the Meiji Restoration.

I had two ancestors who were advisers to the Emperor. My ojiisan (grandfather) on my father’s side and my master and great-uncle on my mother’s side. My master was descended from the great Omoikane, goddess of wisdom and intelligence.

My father taught me of the code of the Bushido that has governed my family for milenia. He fought in the second world war. He was so disgusted by the atrocities he helped partake in but most importantly the Bataan Death march, that he sent me to my most revered uncle’s temple so that I would not be tainted by the modern world. From the age of seven, I was raised in the temple that is now my own. At the age of twenty I received my first ancient katana, which I dubbed chie which means wisdom. Then at the age of twenty-eight I received the second katana, which is named seika which means sacred fire.

On the west side of Fujisama is a great evil. Even from such a young age I could detect the evil that resides there. My uncle was always calling me Nishi-Nishikun which means west west boy due to the fact that I was always staring off in that direction and pondering what could be there.

On the eve of my forty-ninth year my most revered uncle and master died. I was so struck with emotional upheaval that I was out of balance. So I went to a small cave in Fujisama to meditate for a year.

When I cam out of my meditation, my personal aide and acolyte said that an American visitor was looking for me. And the day after Python, the Toltec, Pixie, Stopwatch, and Highlander came to recruit me to the Zenith Society.
